I know it's a lot of messing about but if you show BT you're actually going to leave then the decent deals come your way.

I have Halo Broadband contract due for renewal in January 26. I want to renew with "normal" broadband as it is about £40 less a month. I cannot see benefit of being a Halo customer as we do not have mobile phone signal in or around the house so cannot use the EE router that is sent in the event of the broadband not working. Can I revert from Halo or is there no way back.

Halo is supposed to be an add-on and not part of your broadband contract but from numerous posts on the forum dropping halo is not easy and you need to be persistent in your attempts. probably best time is when your renewal is due and if BT resist dropping Halo then just move to another ISP - EE or PN or Sky etc

Be careful what you say about Halo, as the 'Halo Police' will be out in force shutting you down for 'hurty words'. 😋
