&lt;P&gt;Once your service with your new provider activates, the cancellation will automatically go through at our end and your final bill will be produced in 7-10 days.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We don't have access to accounts via these forums, but any equipment returns bags should be sent automatically alongside your cancellation too.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Hoping to leave BT very soon</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Morning all&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have two questions for you :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(1)&amp;nbsp; When you change provider how soon after activation of new provider does final BT bill arrive?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(2)&amp;nbsp; I understand the router we have from BT has to be returned to them in a prepaid bag which is sent by them.&amp;nbsp; Does&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; this happen automatically when your contract is ended with BT and they send one out for return before final bill is done hence avoiding&amp;nbsp; charge for unreturned router&amp;nbsp; or do we have to request one from BT&amp;nbsp; immediately after new router is installed ourselves?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;X&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Do not cancel your direct debit until after the final bill has been paid and receipted for.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BT will send you a returns bag. Make sure you keep receipt of proof of posting and take a photo of it in case you lose it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
