I also have been offered this "price freeze" if I accept BT's "upgrade" offer.
All it actually means is that if you accept this offer before 31 Mar 2026, you won't suffer the usual BT mid 2-yr contract price increase until end of March 2027.
However, in my case, the "upgrade" offer would have increased my monthly price more than the mid contract price increase, without offering any worthwhile additions.
So, I wouldn't worry too much about not being able to access your "offer". It's not likely to be very attractive!

I received an email from BT offering a price freeze if I re-contracted for my broadband. When I try to do so I am met with the following

I know that BT are not renowned for the slickness of their website but this really does suggest a level of complete incompetence. However, I suspect that I am not the only one to find this.

You can ring to re-contract but beware of aggressive tactics to push you over to EE. I fell victim to this this week but have come to a satisfactory outcome thanks to very understanding person from the EE value team.

If you are being pushed about EE just say no and try again as the responses and knowledge of the advisors is extremely variable unfortunately.

Just by way of an update the system worked today and I was able to renew my current package without any change and without this year's price increase. I suppose it just shows how flakey BT's on-line offering can be.
