Hi All,

I’m after some advice for my package, I have broadband and landline which also links to my telecare alarm system. I’m paying in excess of £70 for the service which i feel is a lot for a pensioner on pension credit. I only have broadband to be able to video call family overseas and digital newspaper. The phone i rarely use due to poor hearing.
do BT not offer subsidies for pensioners anymore, social tariffs? I know that Virgin will offer the same service, higher broadband speeds and an analogue fixed line for half the price of BT.

Brand loyalty means nothing and why shouldn’t I move to another provider!

So this looks like the best solution for me, I should give them a call. Amazing that this is not an easy product to find.
