Emails in ‘Sent’ folder have disappeared

I have discovered that prior to 30/08/2022 all the emails in my Sent box have disappeared.

I am using a talk21.com account and have used this for years - I have not accidentally deleted them and they are not showing on the webmail version.

Can anyone help or advise? Can these be retrieved or are they lost for good?

If the emails are not showing on webmail it means that they have been deleted from the BTMail Server and can not be recovered.

Do you access your emails on more than one device and do you use an email client/app. If you do check that the email client/app has not been set to delete messages to free up disk space.

Thanks for your reply. I thought as much - that it would be unlikely I could recover my sent messages and am now resolved with never seeing them again!

I have used talk21 for many years from when it was first available on a variety of devices, now it is mainly iPad and iPhone and have escaped relatively lightly on ‘issues’.

I may now look at other providers as ‘help’ from BT was frankly useless and only compounded the issue further.
