BT Internet E-Mail address - trying to move it

I am trying to move a Basic BT Internet e-mail address from one BT ID to another. I don't seem to have any of the options discussed here. I see the availability of BT Internet email addresses changed in Oct 22.

You can link an email address to another BT Broadband account provided the receiving BT Broadband account already has an email address set up. Note it is to another BT Broadband account, not just another BTID.

If the receiving BT Broadband account was started after October 2022 that account will not have the option to set up BTMail email accounts and would therefore not be able to have an email account linked to it.

Hi, @jmhume are you trying to move the email address to a BT ID that has an active BT broadband service?
