So this has been an issue with various clients for years at this point. Have BT made ANY effort to get this working?

I can access my emails via the web of course and on the IOS Outlook client. However it never works with Outlook on Windows or other apps i'd like to connect to email.

Why is this still an issue in 2023?

Disconnecting clients and resetting the password does nothing, i'm using the documented names and ports, the same as i am for where its working... but nothing

Regards

In contrast I've been using Gmail for over 10 years and never had any problems. Food for thought?

Ironically i've literally just turned on forwarding from BT to Gmail. Time to start phasing their useless offering out. The stupid thing is that you can test connections to the BT mail servers successfully from various sources, use it from various clients etc and yet others it just flat out refuses to work.
