My father is no longer able to access his @talk21.com email address via his iPad using the native email app

We have also tried access via the web with the email.t21@btinternet.com with no luck?

has something changed ?

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Community. I'm sorry your dad is having problems accessing his email.

What happens when you try to sign into the email using the link https://www.bt.com/mail

This is now resolved.

I hadnt realised that on an iPad you have to use the xxxx.t21@btinternet.com address details to configure the IMAP account

However via the webmail you can still use the @talk21.com address as the username
