email selection from e.g. In box - failure of cursor to select properly - intermittent & slowness

Has any one experienced their cursor not selecting the item chosen (and carefully clicked on) but the system selecting the previous entry?

At extreme I even had the previous email content posted into the current reply automatically before I had even started typing in my reply.

Also all cc addresses and bcc addresses being automatically loaded into "to", with no explanation why or how and the email sent still printing out correctly with cc and bcc addresses in the correct position , but displaying and actually sending them ALL as "To". i.e. all the bcc addresses displayed to ALL recipients. !!

Anyone any ideas what is going on . this has happened on 3 different lap tops, using BT web site , Edge and Google Chrome, none of which seem to make much difference.
