BT emails

Emails when deleted off my iPhone are not deleting of my Ipads.
Apple can't find a problem all set up the same
On all devices.

Which email app are you using?

If you delete an email on your iPads does it get deleted from your iPhone?

Is your email app set up as an IMAP account or a POP3 account?

If it is a POP3 account the email is not synchronised with your other devices and as such anything deleted would not be deleted on your other devices.

I have 2 ipads apple checked they are all on IMAP.

However I have deleted emails on both iPad and it deleted on my iPhone. IPhone deletes do not delete on my pads.

If I delete emails on the pads it deletes on the iPhone. Delete on iPhone does not delete on my two pads.
I have BT email App and apple mail app.
All on IMAP accounts.

Apple support checked all settings yesterday but don't know the problem. Never had this before.

Use BT APP on iPhone and the apple mail.

Have the mail app from Apple.

Have always used these for 3 years with no problem.

I know this duplicate email .

I won't give my views about the BTMail app however have you tried uninstalling the BTMail app then reinstalling it?

Yes have done this a few times and still the same.

I will give it another go.

If the re-install does not work try another email app. If that works you will at least know where the problem lies and you can decide which app you wish to continue using.

All email are deleting off off iPhone and pads when I use iPad to delete them but not its use iPhone. One of the port numbers was wrong on one iPad.

The correct settings were given in the link in message 2. I guess Apple never checked them even although they said they had!

I deleted a lot of email and also the BT email App yesterday. Then later my email address from Apple mail and reinstalled it.
Everything is not working fine. Mail deleting from all devices now.
