Hi, Two-part security appears to be using an out-of-date (ie no longer owned ) mobile phone number to send a security check when logging in from a new device although the correct new mobile number has been set in my bt account. The only way the problem was solved (by a bit help assistant ) is to suggest turning off two-part security!!! What a ludicrous situation There appears to be no way to update the mobile number on the Security process itself! And Security is sending a message to an insecure location.

Hi @NobbyH Thanks for posting, the mobile number is taken from your recovery details in MyBT. If you follow the steps to set up two-step authentication again in MyBT you're given the option to update the contact number.

Thanks

Neil
