Getting Error 553 saying I can't send emails. I've tried all the fixes incl hub on and off...

I can't send specific emails. They do have links in but the links need to be there. There is no malicious content. I've tried all the fixes I've seen on here including switching hub off. Help please!

Hi @LesleyTrenner, welcome to the forum and sorry you're getting this error.

Are you using a VPN?

Are trying to access your email via your work computer?

Have you tried to send emails from other devices?

Yet another 553 email error, it's very common if you check in this forum,

Your best bet is to get (if you've not done so already) a Gmail address and use that from now on. Tell all your contacts, gradually update all online accesses etc. It might take a few months to catch everything, but you will be much better off.

yes same here today 12 Sept. once again Btinternet email is down. Not sure if anyone has reported it (as thatseems very hard to do). It's not possible for some to use a different email address likegmail or hotmail so when will BT work out this unstable platform. Fewer IT teams like BTinternet as it constantly fails. Not sure how long this current issue will take them to fix.

Hi! I didn’t think of that, so I just tried logging in from my iPhone, but unfortunately I still got to same message

Thank you. I do have a Gmail but I didn’t think about using it! I’m getting the impression that people on this forum have just given up on this problem being resolved. But my understanding is that if I pay for a BT account it includes BT Internet email and therefore I should be able to send a pretty straightforward email that just has some links in it?
