It’s inexplicable that this happens, and they haven’t offered any solutions to recovering them. If they’re deleted, then they’re gone. Thing is I didn’t delete anything, they’ve literally just disappeared. I said 6 months in my original post but on my phone it’s actually 8 months worth.

Yesterday when searching for a recent email I noted on my iPhone (apple mail) that 6 month’s worth of recent emails had strangely disappeared. I checked the bt webmail and it was the same. I checked my iPad and I could literally see the emails being deleted in front of my eyes as it tried to load them up. I checked my MacBook and it was the same. None of the emails are in a deleted email folder or junk.

All accounts on each device are set up as imap accounts and there’s no storage issues on any of them.

Anyone got any ideas? BT have suggested it’s an apple Mail thing or user error but there’s no way I’ve grabbed 6 months of emails and deleted them, even if I fid they’d be in the deleted mail folder.

All the emails in my sent box have disappeared apart from the latest two. This is the second time this has happened in a couple of years. I have not taken any action to remove 100’s of emails from this folder. They are not showing in any other folder. Why has this happened again ?
Is there no way for BT to retrieve them?
