unopened emails disappear

Emails come into my inbox and appear momentarily but disappear before I can open them. Can any explain why and how to resolve the problem

Hi @cruso Have you checked if the emails are in webmail?

Do you access your emails from multiple devices? Possibly one has been set up using POP settings to download and delete the email from the server.

I have a number of email addresses and devices! only one email address I affected. I will check all devices re possible POP set.

It's strange that some emails to the problematic email address come and stay in, while others come in and disappear a split second after opening my email app.

When I have some time to spare I'll delete the address from all the devices accounts, along with any rules assosciated with it, and add the address again. On a Samsung galaxy phone I have a factory installed email app and I have the bt maill address and a gmail address in there and can flip between the two. Could this be a cause of the oriblem?
