Missing Friends and family email address

Years ago (about 2007) I set up an email under my primary account for a friend
They have been using it for years and have had no issues with it.
Now they cannot log into it and it wont accept what she thought was the password (but it could be wrong)
So I went into my BT account and looked under "email" and found that it was not listed as one of my sub-accounts (as it was known back in the olden days) its not listed as a friends/Family account it has totally gone.
It is still being used by my friend on her mobile phone until today when she was requested to reset her password due to a security concern and cant remember the answers to the security questions (not surprising really as they are 16 years old now).
Any ideas where its gone and how to put it back and also how to reset the password?
