Error 553

Hi, I keep getting an error code when trying to send emails to my kids school. I've checked their email and it is fine. I tested sending an email to myself and that was ok but whenever I use the school email it won't send and goes into jy outbox or comes up with a error 553. Any ideas? Many thanks

Think I've discovered it was because I was sending to a staff member called Norton and the email thinks I am sending a virus! Not sure how I can communicate with him now....

I doubt that is the reason, but if so - then clearly the system is even more not fit for purpose.

Do a search for 553 in this forum and you will see loads of reports. BT will NOT do anything to fix this.

Don't use BTinternet for email, use Gmail instead.
