Why am I being advised that my email could not be delivered due to content policy reasons

Here is a copy of the email I am trying to send to planks dairies.

"To whom it may concern

It will not be necessary to deliver any milk to [my address] on xxxxx. We would be grateful if you could ensure that the delivery person is informed accordingly.

Normal delivery should resume with four pints being delivered on xxxxx.

We would be grateful if you would acknowledge receipt of this email.

Many thanks in anticipation.

What bit of the above email offends content policy? I have viewed a number of similar question in the forum, but have yet to find any 'answer' that explains why and how to overcome. Please enlighten me at your earliest convenience.

This is a public forum that can be viewed by anyone. It is against forum rules to post personal information such as your address so can you please remove it from your post and it is also against forum rules to post email addresses so the email address you posted should also be removed.

Your post also suggests that you will not be at home between the dates you have mentioned. Knowing this may be of assistance to any one who may wish to break into your home and steal your belongings so I would suggest that you also remove the dates.

Many thanks for your quick response regarding my post to the community, and I fully take on the very sensible points you detail. I have updated my post accordingly to remove my address, the email address of the addressee and the dates of my absence.

Any chance now that you can give me the reason for the receipt of the error on my original email that I was attempting to send to my milkman?

There was nothing within your email that you posted to have caused the error.

Sometimes these errors just get thrown up for some unknown reason and frequently they just clear the next time the email account is used.

Was there an error code number with the message.

Are you using a VPN.

Are you using webmail (on a browser) or are you using an email client or app.

If the error persists, try turning your BT hub off for about 15 minutes which should force a change of IP address and when you reconnect you will also hopefully be connected to a different BT email server that allows the email through.

Many thanks for the update. Among replies to similar enquiries, I noticed that 'are you using a VPN' frequently appeared, and I am using the McAfee VPN. I turned it off, and retried sending the email, and this time no error, so that might have been the reason.

PS: rather disturbed by the additional messages that had nothing to do with my post submitted by anonymous people hiding behind pseudonyms!

As I said, the forum can be read by anybody.

I have no idea why @apoplectic stuck is nose in here with his post other than trolling and the post by @licquorice was replying to @apoplectic that because of his post he was appearing to come across as an idiot and I have to say I agree with that.

As regards using a VPN, as you may know when you use a VPN it conceals your true IP address and supplies you with a different one. It may be the case that the one you were supplied with in this instance is on a blacklist and as such BT would not allow it through.
