BT Mail and Apple contacts

I’m new to the BT Mail app. When sending an email to a group, how do I get BT Mail to read my groups in my Apple ‘contacts’?

If you want to send group emails on BT Email, then you need to set up the contact groups within BT Email itself, it won't automatically add any email groups from within your own contacts.

Depending on your setup, you might find it easier just to export your group as a VCF and then simply import the contact groups into BT Email, see here:

or use the Apple Mail app. which will be more than happy to accept all your contacts and groups.
