    <description>&lt;P&gt;From other similar posts it seems that Outlook &amp;amp; BT mail servers really don't like each other. Unless there's a compelling reason why you must use Outlook, I'd try another mail client such as Mozilla's Thunderbird.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Outlook &gt;&gt; Password never valid</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, a number of months ago Outlook said i needed to confirm my password, which i did - never accepted it&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have tried two different versions of outlook, including the recent one that was released - still can not sign in.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Purchased a brand new laptop as i old laptop came to the end of it's life, fresh install of everything, still can not log in.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;User name &amp;amp; password is correct - can log in on the web&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas?       <description>&lt;P&gt;BT email doesn't require an app password and therefore doesn't supply one.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Use the advanced settings button and the settings given &lt;A href="https://www.bt.com/help/email/manage-email-account/manual-settings/what-are-the-settings-for-outgoing-and-incoming-bt-email-servers" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; for IMAP&lt;/P&gt;</description>
