bt mail keeps logging me off

BT mail keeps logging me off on my pc and laptop. I can end up logging in a dozen times a day. My mobile is always logged in. It makes no sense.

You will probably be using an email client or app on your phone and a web browser on your PC and laptop top.

The web browser on your PC and Laptop no longer keeps you logged on. BT have removed that function. It will log you off after a predetermined time, which at the moment you can not change.

Your phone's email app logs on and off automatically when ever you open it to check for emails or use it. It can also be set to "look" for emails at what ever length of time you set it to and as such it appears to be logged on all the time even although it is not.

You can install a free email client such as Bluemail or eM Client both of which will behave in the same way as your phone's email app and is a far better way to access your email account than using a web browser.

Unless your a basic member and then you're not allowed to use a client or app!

Err, no, get your facts straight. It's the opposite, basic email cannot be used with a client or app.

So you can't use an app or a client if you're a basic member? Is that right or wrong?

Correct, basic mail users can't use apps or clients, only webmail.
