Daniel, I have been migrated to EE, but I believe I have been downgraded to a basic version, my email platform, look and feel has been changed, and not for the better. How do I get it restored?

The User Interface, the look and how you use it, that BTMail uses was changed a few months back so it may be just that is what you are seeing.

However to check what email type you have you will need to log onto your MyBT and then go to "Your Products" then "Email, manage" then look at the email type that will be showing at the top of the page. It should show standard.

If it states "Due to be downgraded" it means that you are presently on the Standard account.

If it does eventually show "Basic" post back for further assistance.

EDIT: If you only access your BTMail email account on a web browser, you will not see any difference between a Basic and Standard account.

If you use your email with an email app or email client, this will only work with the Standard account. BTMail Basic can not be used with a email client/app.

Forgive my ignorance/confusion, I am using the BT link to the website, and logging in through that from my PC ( as I have always done), and even that has changed as I cannot use the 'Keep me logged in' tick box.
Also a thread said on 'Basic' I can only have one email address if I'm not a BT/EE customer!?
My second address I don't use now, so I could delete it, but I would not be able to create a new one.
Also why does it say against my current email ceased account , as I am technically still a BT customer?

When you notify BT that you are leaving BT it automatically starts the process to downgraded your email account. This happens regardless of which ISP you are moving to.

Your BTMail account will NOT be downgraded when your move to EE is completed.

As regards BTMail Basic, which you will NOT have when you do move to EE, if you have more than one BTMail account all of them will will be downgraded to Basic and all of them will still be able to be used regardless of whether or not you are a BT/EE customer or with any other ISP.

There is no "Keep Logged on" box on any of the types of BTMail. This was done away with when the email UI was "upgraded".

As I have said, read the posts in the links that I posted. All your questions about the "upgraded" have been asked and answered already and as I said, when you do move to EE and if the email account is downgraded to Basic post back for further assistance then because nothing can be done while the process of you moving is still happening.

You keep your BTMail email account as is. ie the "Standard" email account and all the eleven email accounts that may have been used from that account.
