Emails disappearing

Anyone have any ideas why my emails should be disappearing after 2 days? Have I set something? They used to be there for ever, and I had to keep deleting some. I am non techie, but I have read somewhere that it might mean someone has got into my account and that is scaring me! Please help.

Make sure that the "Conversation" View is not active. To do that log onto your BTMail account and click on "View" in the menu bar at the right hand side. Scroll down and Single click "conversation view" to toggle it on or off.
When you toggle it on or off you will see the name "Conversation View" change colour from grey to blue when it is turned on.

Not an obvious solution but the briefest of searches of the forum would have revealed it has been posted countless times.

It's the first time I have used the forum and I am not a confident IT person at all.
