Hi all, I've recently moved to China but want to keep my BT premium email running. I've been here a week so far and BT has 'detected a security problem' three times now meaning I keep on having to change my password. I have to run a VPN on my phone - is this the issue? Thanks for any help! Paul

Welcome to the BT Community Forums.

When you're trying to access this, are you logging in via BT webmail, or are you using a separate client?

Thanks Peter,

I was using the BT email app on my phone. I've since taken this off my phone, reset my password and only accessed via Outlook on my laptop. I presume all the VPN's we have to use out here trigger security?

IIRC China have a rather substantial firewall which blocks a lot of foreign websites etc. You might find the accessing BT Mail could be included in this because of potential news items etc on the website.
