e-mail logging me out

BT e-mail keeps logging me out every two hours or so, why and how can I stop it?

You can't.

There are no user settings to adjust the log out time.

All you can try is to clear out your web browsers history and cookies to see if that helps.

Thanks. That is a bit disappointing. BT themselves say there is nothing they can do from their end either.

It didn't used to happen, started about a year ago, it is a right pain!!

There's a good reason for it

If you were to use a mail client, the logging out problem wouldn't exist for you.

The client is permanently open but only logs in to the account to retrieve/send mail and then logs out again.
