How to change displayed sender's name on emails

For some reason the name displayed when I send an email has my name, but also additional information which I would like to remove.

Have looked where I can do this, but have not managed to find where I can do this.

Grateful if someone can point me in the right direction.

I am assuming that you are using a web browser (webmail) to use your BTMail email account.

To change the displayed name you need to log onto your email account and then click on your username (usually your email address) at the right hand side then click on "Settings".

Once the settings have opened click on "Profile" in the left hand column.

You will see your name or what ever you are wanting to display as your name. Click on "Edit". A new page will open and you can change the details listed. Once done click "Save" at the foot of the page.
