How to get BT emails deleting on all Mac devices. Help needed

I've had a look at past posts on this, but still need a steer/advice please.

I'm using various BT emails on Macbooks, iphones and ipads. I'm using Mac Mail and Outlook email on the laptops

I want to set them to delete emails across all devices when you choose to cull on just one device.

I've looked at my email settings and I have a IMAP accounts, but need advice from there.

What other settings are needed please ?

All your devices need to be set up as IMAP using the following settings.

Once you have done that they should all synch with each other.
