BT IP tried accessing my account

Hi all,

Recently I had the below BT IP try to access my email.

86.179.14.221

I’ve tried looking into what this up is as it doesn’t look like a regular customer IP and it goes back to a BT CENTRAL PLUS can anyone enlighten me?

I should note I’ve also contacted abuse@bt.com but have gotten no response.

86 is used as a customer IP. I've had 31, 81, 86 and 109 regular over the last few years. (It wasn't me by the way!)

What was your own external IP address, (from your Hub's GUI), when this happened?

Do NOT give it here, but I'm wondering if it was somehow the IP address that you gave in your OP?

I can’t lie I didn’t check my Ip at the time but looking but looking now they don’t start with a 86.

Would feel pretty stupid if it turned out to be me, if so I’d have to follow up with BT abuse team I think 😂
