SPAM Attack

I have just been hit by 1500 spam messages, I've gone into any unauthorised forwarding and rules, nothing there, and have changed my passwords. It was strange that none went into junk and wonder if anyone else has any advice as to what else to do?

BT highlighted account compromised, everything reset but still getting a higher than average number of spam emails that aren't going into junk- any suggestions?

Hey again @GSinge65, are you still having issues around the high volume of emails being received here?

We flagged this with our email team, and they've recommended to check to ensure you don't have 'allow all images' selected in your 'blocked images setting'.

This will prevent the senders from detecting interaction with the emails sent, and limit the chance that any further correspondence will be received.

Along with the advice from @Peter_W do not open any emails unless you can clearly see that they are not spam or from an unknown source.

If you are not sure tick the box on the left of the email in the list of emails then go to "More" in the menu bar above the list and select "View Source". This will show the senders true details etc and you can then decide if it is spam or not.

If in doubt delete it.
