Is BT email down at the moment?

I get the error message in the attachment -

Anyone else getting this?

Trying to log into email it is saying:- Is it down please

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at prod-btemailauth.bt.com.

If you entered the right address, you can:

Try again later
Check your network connection
Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

Yes I am getting the same error , both with my usual Firefox browser and the same when trying Microsoft Edge, but have been able to access via my Gmail app on my mobile

The Microsoft Outlook Ap on my mobile is still showing an up-to-date BT email inbox for my account. So, I can see new incoming messages that way.

Yes I cannot log in using email.bt.com

nslookup gets: "dsldevice.lan can't find prod-btemailauth.bt.com: Server failed"

I was told 4 hours @ about 17:00

My outlook can access my btinternet via imap

A test messge to myself arrived at my inbox

BT told me about adding btinternet to outlook as a work around a few months ago. That seems to be working.

It is only webmail that is down. It is working on email clients and email apps.

I understand it is a fault in the Microsoft 'updates' to the opening pages.......

I trust an expert will appear and explain the technicalities!!!

On the BT Mail app when I hit Login to BT Email the screen swipes left then comes back to the same view without giving the option to put in your details. After uninstalling and reinstalling it is still doing the same. I'm also having trouble getting in to the EE TV app.

The message from BT currently says

https://www.bt.com/help/check-service-status

We're aware of login issues with BT Mail on webmail and via the BT Mail app. You may not be able to login until this is resolved. We’re working to get them sorted as soon as possible. You can still access BT Mail via clients such as Outlook Express.
