    <description>&lt;P&gt;I believe that it is &lt;EM&gt;supposed&lt;/EM&gt; to delete the email altogether, thereby stopping it from appearing in any folder at all (including the spam folder):&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.bt.com/help/email/using-bt-mail-s-anti-spam-features" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.bt.com/help/email/using-bt-mail-s-anti-spam-features&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, I've found that in practice the rules aren't always applied correctly and I've had items appear in the spam folder - and even my inbox - that meet one or more of the rules I have set to discard them!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Morning all - if DISCARD is set as a rule action, does it&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;o&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;stop emails going into any folders eg Spam / Trash / other&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;o&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;generally send emails to Spam&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;o&amp;nbsp; generally send emails to Trash&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;o&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;something else&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;many thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>
