    <description>&lt;P&gt;You are probably better asking on an Apple forum as they appear to have broken things.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't use Apple devices so can't give a detailed description of how to check, but ensure your SMTP configuration is Port 465, SSL and plain password.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am assuming you are BT broadband customer or paying for Premium Mail. If neither your email will have been downgraded to Basic Mail which cannot be used with a mail client.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>iOS 26.2 BT Mail not leaving outbox</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Since apple updated their OS to 26.2 BT mail hangs up in the outbox and you are prompted for the account password, which is not recognised. &amp;nbsp;All other folders synchronise normally, including "drafts". &amp;nbsp;This occurs on apple mobile devices and on MacBooks alike.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Apple says it is not caused by their software, so does anybody in the BT Community have a solution?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PS: &amp;nbsp;BT Webmail works as normal and passwords/IMAP details are correct.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So, your mail works ok until Apple do an upgrade whence it stops working, but Apple say its not them causing the problem!!!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I suspect Apple have somehow made changes to the SMTP configuration, possibly encrypting the password which is not required as the whole connection is encrypted.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks Liquorice,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But I'm not trying to blame anybody, I just want my mail to consistently send when I press send. &amp;nbsp;All other synchronisations work absolutely fine, except the send one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you could shed a light on a fix that would be good.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
