Email not working properly since IOS27 Update

Hello,

since my IPhone updated to IOS27 earlier this week, my BT Internet email account has not been working properly in the Apple email app. The cycle gets stick in "checking for mail.." and if I leave the account and check maybe half an hour later, it has downloaded some email, but from hours earlier. I have disconnected and reconnected the account and reset the IPhone. Anyone else having similar issues, or any suggestions please?

have you tries accessing your email using web browser to see if that works instead of the app
