Display name on BTconnect.com email account

I need to change the display name on a Btconnect.com email account. The person whose name is on the account retires soon and we don't want emails being sent with his name on them. We access the emails via Outlook. I have tried to do this but get a message saying contact your IT or administrator to do this. We don't have an IT dept. There are only two people in the office. I really don't want to have to set up a new email address as it would need a lot of work to notify all our contacts. Can anyone help? Thanks.

This is a BT residential forum. You will need to post on the BT Business Forum who deal with BT Connect email addresses.

If the BT Connect email address is in the name of or contains the name of the retiree you can not change an email address.
