BT Essential Digital Home Phone 090257 and business smart hub 3

Is it possible to connect these to a VT bus hub 3? I already have a yealink that came with the hub which works ok, I haev another 4 BT Essential Digital Home Phone handsets I would like to connect, however they connects but stay syncing. I'm assuming they aren't compatible?

As you are a business user, please could you post on the BT Business forum at http://business.forums.bt.com/

P.S. The business hubs do not have a DECT base station built in, so the phones will not connect.
