If you ring 0800 800 151. You should get a prompt asking which number you are calling about. That will normally fail if you are calling from your own line, and are a BT customer.

Calling from another non BT line, or from a phone box, should give the prompt for the number.

There may be an option to speak to an adviser, but they would not be able to tell you anything, as you are not the customer.

How do I get help for a hard-of-hearing neighbour

Hi

My neighbour's phone is not working. I have tried to report it, both by phone and by sending a text. Sending a text seems to have done something as they had a phone call with a recorded message - sadly as they are hard of hearing, they couldn't hear what was being said. How can I get someone to help them? I can't log in to track the fault as I obviously can't set up an account for them.

Thanks Hannah
