'Menu unavailable' to change the Ringtone/volume on BT Digital voice handsets

Hi this has been asked before and the thread was closed with no posted solution so I am unsure if it was resolved. I now have the same issues and have asked the original poster if they ever resolved but also starting a similar thread asking the same question again.

So asking the question again as follows:

I am trying to access the menu to change the ringtone on my BT Essentials Digital Voice phone - I have two of them. When I choose the Sounds option, then Ringing option it then says Error Not Currently Available. I've tried resetting the handset, base and factory resetting the router, but nothing works?

Anyone have a solution?

Nope, but the option works for me with firmware versionX42_BT_H30225
