Second DV phone not ringing

Have a phone in bedroom plugged into device to connect to Hub, which has stopped ringing. I can make calls and answer calls if I hear main phone ringing.

Any idea why it should have stopped working?

if you can make and answer call the adapter appears ok but you can try connecting old style filter you used to use for broadband as that seems to work from other posts

Just be aware that not all filters work for that, so you may have to try a few different ones.
