Digital Voice Handsets

When I went over to Digital Voice I got a couple of the BT handsets which have generally worked well.

However, just occasionally, and for no discernible reason, they lose the handset name I have set and just go back to "Handset 1" and "Handset 2". Is there a known reason for this or is there something I need to do to prevent it?

do the handsets drop connection to the SH2 base when the names change? Have you replaced the batteries in the handsets as from forum posts the original batteries were very poor quality and didn't last long

I don’t know if the handsets drop the connection to the SH2 as I only notice it after the event.

I understand what you are saying about the batteries but I am not sure about that as there is no other issue and the batteries don’t seem to go flat quickly.
