    <description>&lt;P&gt;Got digital voice but just realised i'm not recieving incoming calls. Was pushed into getting it and didn't want it for this very reason as i live on my own. Tried to login to my bt account to see if it shows activation but even that's down tonight.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can you make calls when connecting phone to green socket on back of hub?&amp;nbsp; Have you tried a factory reset of the hub to see if that helps?&amp;nbsp; Anyone phoning you needs you use full phone number not the local short code.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I can make outgoing calls and i reset the router. Got my sister to call me and she hears ringing but obviously i dont as incoming calls not working from my end&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Even if the phone doesn’t ring, have you tried answering the incoming call. Assuming of course you are by the phone that’s plugged into the hub when someone is calling you from a mobile stood next to you. If you see what I mean…&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Do you happen to have a micro filter lying around? You could try plugging that into the hub’s green socket and then plugging the phone into the micro filter. Then get someone to call you. It may work.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hmm.. sounds like a call to BT in the morning then. May be a configuration error when the service was transferred. At least you can make the outgoing call!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just thought, if you dial 17070 does the lady say the correct number? Or is it something completely different?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yep oddly enough i can login to my bt account but if i click on track my order or billing i'm getting a maintenance page saying were launching something new and will be up and running soon. I just wanted to track my order see if it said anything but i'll phone them tomorrrow sought it out.17070 gave correct number and said press 1 for ring back but didnt work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But at least you’ve discovered it and done all you can to try and sort it yourself.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Probably due to the lateness of the hour for the billing/ order enquiry. Perhaps some background maintenance &amp;nbsp;going on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope you manage to get it sorted. Once DV is up and running properly you may be surprised at the improvement on the quality of the call. Even on a basic phone like you’ve got.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Anything complicated about the history of your landline number , has it always been a BT number , and never ported to another company before coming back to BT, or is it another company’s number originally that is currently imported to BT ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The person calling you that &amp;nbsp;can hear ringtone but your phone doesn’t ring , calling you from another BT landline or a different landline provider or a mobile provider ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Lastly , if you have dialtone from the hub , call 17070 and check the correct number is read out ( this can be in place of checking the router stats page or do that as well as )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It may be your phone is not compatible, however normally in these cases connecting it to the hub with a ADSL filter can make it ring to incoming calls as the ADSL filter replaces the missing connectivity ( this is usually needed with very old phones ) , otherwise as stated get a call made to you while you are waiting near &amp;nbsp;the phone , while the caller is listening to ringtone (but your phone not ringing) &amp;nbsp;, lift the handset anyway , if the call &amp;nbsp;connects , you need a new phone, that’s if the ADSL filter hack doesn’t work .&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Got an email this morning saying my phone has gone live and now ready to use. Tried ringback on 17070 and it appears to be working. I assumed it was working on the 26th when an openreach engineer checked it but apparently took 48 hours to go live. Anyway seems loud and clear and all is well. Thanks for the 17070 number always handy if i need to check incoming calls.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
