Unrecognised Numbers

I ticked the box to stop unrecognised numbers, but it keeps unticking. I am receiving an awful lot of spam/scam calls and am blocking them as fast as I can, but I'm losing all hope.

Is there any chance that BT could set up CallSafe like TalkTalk have? It's the only blocker that's ever worked.

Hey again @Susan61.

Whilst we don't have the exact same service that TalkTalk uses, have you had the chance to check out all of the options offered by Call Protect?

I can see in your other thread from a few months ago that you were seeing scam calls from similar numbers - that's definitely likely to be spoofing, and are tough for us to block as they regularly change where they call from.

@Susan61 You just need a call blocking (whitelisting) phone such as tbe BT4600. Only whitelisted numbers get through without screening.

Blacklisting numbers is futile.
