I so happened to hear Jeremy Vine this morning and he was talking about the move to Digital Voice. He was telling his audience that the copper line is being scrapped and everyone will move to digital voice and the copper lines will be rolled up and sold off for billions£s

Is it any wonder people believe that the copper phone line and broadband ADSL will be scrapped

Wouldn't it be nice if journalists actually researched the stuff they put out!!!

I think the problem is the juniors that are doing the “research”.

You should see the tripe lately in my local online paper. The standard of journalism is appalling. There are even articles with incorrect photos of locations, that any local would know are incorrect. It’s getting to the stage where it’s not worth reading.

Perhaps they’re using an AI for research?

And they've got the nerve to have recently launch a "premium subscription service" as well. What a joke.
