Hi all. Does anyone know if BT offer a stand-alone ATA option for Digital Voice? Doing it through the Smart Hub is a pain, so I'm thinking of dumping DV and moving to VoIP instead.

Digital Voice is BTs version of VoIP.

It wasn't a pain for me once I had the new hub as all I had to do was plug an adapter in. sync it to the hub and plug my phone into it without having to move it from its existing spot.

Yes, the hub needs to be connected directly to the ONT.

The DV adapter (obtainable free from BT) is simply a portable ATA (phone socket) that just requires a mains socket and can be located where required. It simply connects back to the hub via DECT.

https://community.bt.com/t5/Home-phone-including-Digital/Digital-Voice-FAQs/td-p/2207485
