Digital Voice Problems

My elderly mother has problems with the corded phone, it’s effectively off hook intermittently, we changed the phone for a new one and the problem persists.

The Digital Voice handset, on wireless works fine.

Im thinking the hub may have a fault ?

Is it "off the hook" or is it the message waiting tone for the 1571 service?

Thanks for coming to the community.

As you've already tried a different corded phone, and the issue is still happening, could you try restarting the hub and allowing the Digital Voice service to reconnect fully?

Also, check that the phone cable is securely connected at both ends and isn't damaged. If possible, try the corded phone with a different cable and test with another corded handset to rule out any handset or compatibility issues.

If the problem continues after that, I'd recommend getting in touch with our customer support team so they can investigate further.

So we can investigate this fault further, I'd definitely recommend following the advice above from @Debbie_G and report this to our technical team.

They'll be able to check over everything and advise on next steps from there.
