There is an icon (a yellow circle) next to the battery icon on ONE of my two digital voice phones. There is no mention of this in any of the relevant manuals. Any idea as to what it signifies, please?

It appears to be an Alexa notification. From the manual (p. 11 and p. 18):

Alexa notification
Alexa can send notifications to your handset (and other Alexa enabled
devices), to update you on when your Amazon orders will arrive. If you
see the yellow circle in the top of the display, press and say, “What are
my notifications?”.

A brilliant reply, Alison. Thank you so much. Alexa said that I didn`t have any notifications and the icon disappeared.
