      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, BT are switching me to digital voice on Friday but I still haven't received my free digital handset. Is this normal? Without a handset I will be phoneless.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sometimes it takes a while for the check on&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.bt.com/DVequipment" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://www.bt.com/DVequipment&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;to update. You can also get it by texting&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;the word HANDSET to&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;61998&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;. Or calling CS up too if having issues.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What do we do if the router is in a cupboard and the phone is in another room? You say just plug your phone into the green phone socket on the Smart hub 2 - but we would need a long cable to do that!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, when I went to the link - a pop up box requested our landline number and then said we were not eligible for the "free" equipment. My guess is that BT are pausing the roll out of Digital Voice because of issues in our area. We will wait for more information from BT.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;No it's not. I got a free digital phone after I was migrated to Digital Voice as have others on this forum. I filled in the required fields and received the phone a couple of days later.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It may be the case that it will only show the user as being able to get a free phone after the migration has been completed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
