      <title>Call joining with BT Digital Voice</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the following telephone setup within BT Digital Voice using a combination of Advanced Digital Phones and older analogue corded handsets:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;BT Smart Hub&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;2 Advanced Digital Phones&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;1 Digital Voice Adapter with 1 corded phone attached&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;1 Digital Voice Adapter attached to the ‘old’ extension wiring that prior to DV switchover was connected to the master telephone socket. This has 2 corded phones attached.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;The old analogue handsets are retained for use in rooms remote from the BT Smart Hub. The use of extension leads enables the Digital Voice Adapters to be close to the BT Smart Hub although the phones they service are not. 2 Digital Voice Adapters are used as connecting too many phones to a single adapter means they do not ring.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The line operates in Single Call, Auto Join mode so that anyone can join an existing call by simply picking up the receiver on another handset. This copies the behaviour prior to DV switchover.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like to change to Multi Call mode. However I do not know how one of the old handsets could manually join an existing call as, unlike the Advanced Digital Phone, it does not have the menu options available to do this. Are there any codes of *nn# variety that would enable this to be done?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
