Those 3 ring 0843 calls (again)

I get those irritating 0843 calls that just ring 3 times . Just enough for you to reach for the phone . I constantly block them but it seems ‘they’ have an infinite number of numbers .

This has been going on for years and I wonder if theres a solution yet ?

Get a call blocking phone like the BT4600, and you will only receive calls that are from people that you know, or those that are prepared to either announce themselves first, or leave a message.

I think you will then find that the calls will stop.

Thank you Keith but I should have added that I was getting the 0843 calls on my mobile phone (BT simm card) . I do block each one but they have an infinite number of numbers !

Rather difficult then, unless there is a third party app which enables a similar function to the BT4600.

You’re right Keith . I seem to recall that ofcom were aware of it but that was years ago .
Rather hoped there’d have been a solution by now
Oh well back to the beach !
