    <description>&lt;P&gt;Help please, I have just transferred to Virgin Media and requested to take my old phone number 2 days before the number was disconnected.&amp;nbsp; they now say this is not possible due to disconnection.&amp;nbsp; I was with plus-net a bt subsidiary and they inform me it is still possible for up to 14 days after disconnection and to contact BT who is the range holder.&amp;nbsp; This is vital to keep the old number for my disabled husband. How do I do this please before it is too late?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;This is a &lt;STRONG&gt;BT Retail&lt;/STRONG&gt; Customer forum.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As you are a Virgin Media customer, they need to sort it out with Plusnet.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This BT Retail forum has nothing to do with Plusnet who have their own forum and their own phone number ranges.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Its the responsibility of Virgin Media to sort this out, as they are the gaining provider. BT Retail cannot help as you are not their customer, and never have been.&lt;/P&gt;
