I am about to apply to take a BT line and Broadband line in a property that I am purchasing. In my current rented property I have Sky Broadband and Sky Talk. However, when the Broadband connection goes down I loose the Talk facility also. Does BT have any facility on the BT land line/ Broadband Fibre that will allow the land line to remain in operation if the Broadband goes down?

VoIP/Digital Voice requires a working broadband connection. If there's a broadband fault this will prevent the digital voice service from work. To understand more about the nationwide change to VoIP/Digital Voice see https://landlinesgo.digital/

BT Consumer do offer under Halo benefits (will need to be on a package that has this) a backup mechanism to get you back online while they resolve your broadband connection. You would get a device that connects to the mobile network. While connected over the mobile network there are some service restrictions which I believe includes the digital voice service. See https://www.bt.com/exp/halo for more info.
