There is an option for phone connection to FTTP. Use a DV phone or connect my old Dect phone system via the adapter.

Has anyone done both and compared the result?

Is the DV phone noticeably better than an older Dect system?

Hi @steveal

Personal experience (in my 70s), the DV Phones are crystal clear in comparison. I have four with Alexa. The only thing I miss is the nuisance call blocker on my old Premium Phones. Call protect is rubbish.

Please note they are not "FTTP" phones, I am still on FTTC. They simply use the SH2 as a DECT base station.

I use both, got the free Alexa phone, and plugged in my DECT set in the back of the SH2. They all work together. Personally I prefer the Alexa phone
